Caring & Sharing

Anchor Membership

One catastrophic-sharing plan. Two ways to set your MRA.

Anchor 5 and Anchor 10 are the same membership β€” same eligible needs, same limitations, same waiting periods. The only difference is the Member Responsibility Amount you choose, which sets your monthly contribution.

MRA is per member, per calendar year β€” not a household deductible.

Catastrophic-only sharing

Anchor shares the big, unexpected medical needs β€” like ER and hospitalization β€” after your MRA is met. It is not a primary-care plan.

One flat rate

A single flat monthly contribution for all ages 0–65. Anchor does not use age-banded pricing.

Phased cancer sharing

Cancer sharing phases in starting month 13 and grows each year, up to the Annual Maximum by year four.

Any cancer need in the first 12 months of membership
Cancer if previously diagnosed or treated (any time)

How sharing actually works

Detail behind the checklist above.

Cancer sharing schedule

  • No cancer sharing for the first 12 months of membership
  • Year 2: shared up to $50,000
  • Year 3: shared up to $125,000
  • Year 4 and beyond: shared up to the Annual Maximum
  • No sharing at any time for a cancer previously diagnosed or treated

Urgent care

  • 2 visits per member, per calendar year, after the 30-day waiting period
  • $35 office-visit co-share; the membership shares up to $300 per eligible visit
  • Visits beyond the household's allowance are the member's full responsibility

Ambulance

  • Ground transport: up to $3,000 per incident, MRA applies
  • Air/water transport: up to $10,000 per incident, MRA applies

MRA

  • Per member, per calendar year β€” not a household deductible
  • Choosing Anchor 5 or Anchor 10 sets this amount; it does not change any other Anchor terms
